(Text:Mei Pengfe)Recently, the Annual Report on Innovation Development of Henan (2026), part of the Blue Book of Henan series compiled by Henan Academy of Social Sciences, was officially published. Among its contents, the article Practice and Exploration of Zhengzhou Research Institute of HIT in Coordinating the Integrated Development of Education, Science and Technology, and Talents was included and published. (Special Note: Since this article was accepted and included in October 2025, the name Zhengzhou Research Institute of HIT was used.)
The article systematically introduces that Zhengzhou Advanced Research Institute of Harbin Insititute of Technology has consistently adhered to its original aspiration of being rooted in Zhengzhou and serving Henan, used the integrated development of education, science&technology, and talents as a key pathway to build a virtuous operational system of Resources Converge in Henan, Talents Flock to Henan, Innovation Thrives in Henan, and Achievements Remain in Henan. Through a series of innovative measures in student cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, talent recruitment and development, international cooperation, and commercialization of achievements, it has effectively promoted regional industrial transformation and upgrading, optimized the scientific and technological innovation ecosystem, and aggregated high-level talents, vividly illustrating the practical value of a first-class university's local research institute developing in sync and empowering local development mutually.
The Annual Report on Innovation Development of Henan (2026), compiled by the Henan Academy of Social Sciences, provides a systematic and in-depth analysis of the main trends in Henan's innovation development in 2025 and a forecast for 2026. It comprehensively studies and discusses the measures and effectiveness of Henan in promoting the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation from multiple perspectives, and offers countermeasures and suggestions for opening up new prospects for Henan's innovation development under the new circumstances.
